About Us: 20 Years of Excellence in Bespoke Timber Construction

Our History

Jonny Rowland grew up in the west of Ireland. He left home at 18 to move to county Kildare, just outside Dublin, to start his trade apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery. Here he worked in an  off-standard joinery shop making one-off bespoke joinery for the Irish elite. He spent 5 years working for Castleroe joinery and Kilroe developments. In this time he gained valuable experience in all aspects of carpentry, working on award-winning projects building kitchens, stairs, door joinery, window joinery and furniture as well as doing onsite installations.

He then immigrated to Auckland. This is where he decided it was time to start his own venture, with the encouragement of friends and family. He set up Eurocraft Construction which specialises in quality bespoke timber construction. He earned a reputation in the commercial sector for completing carpentry projects on time and on budget. In the residential sector, he has added his own personal touch, specialising in one-off carpentry designs for clients that want something different and want to give their home the “wow factor” with bespoke timber constructions. Jonny has over 20 years of carpentry experience, and in this time has made many friends along the way plying his trade. As director of Eurocraft, he is continuing his journey while excelling at architectural designed and handcrafted timber construction.
